Who is Shepard Fairey?

Shepard Fairey is an American contemporary street artist, graphic designer, activist, and illustrator. His artwork is recognized for its bold, graphic style and its use of iconic imagery and text. He often combines elements of pop culture, politics, and social commentary in his art. Common elements of Fairey’s artwork include bright colors, bold graphic shapes, and text that is often placed in a prominent position in the composition. Designing on the Computer:

All elements of your finished design must be created in Illustrator.  However, some early versions may be started in Adobe Photoshop (such as arranging reference material onto your composition). Additionally, adjustment layers from Adobe Photoshop may be used (as long as the image was created within Illustrator first).
